I’m a holistic & responsive sleep coach, chiropractor, and mum who became slightly (okay, very) obsessed with baby sleep after being deep in the sleep-deprived trenches with my first baby.
For the past decade and a half I’ve worked with pregnancy, postpartum recovery, babies, and the very tired parents that come with them. When I realised most baby sleep advice didn’t line up with what we know about infant development and attachment, I went down the research rabbit hole.
I am now double certified in infant sleep via Possums NDC accreditation and the Holistic Sleep Program (the only university level sleep accreditation in the world), I help families understand how baby sleep actually works so they can navigate it with more confidence and a lot less stress. No rigid schedules, no one-size-fits-all rules, and definitely no “just let them cry”.
My top three tips for surviving (and even thriving) with a newborn:
- Let naps happen in daylight so your baby’s brain can start recognizing day from night.
- Share the overnight load where possible. Even small shifts can make a big difference to your sleep.
- Learn your baby’s cues rather than chasing a schedule. Your baby didn’t read the sleep book.
Because baby sleep does not need to be perfect. It just needs to work for your family.
