Postpartum - it's certainly a journey. Nothing can ever prepare you for what you will go through. The Rollercoaster of emotions, the lack of sleep and the shock of blood running down your leg every time you stand during the first while.
Before baby came so many people would tell me "don't buy all the gimmick things" but as a FTM, the prettiness of the Viva La Vulva products drew me in and I clicked buy now and boy am I glad!! The ice packs and perineal spray were my saving grace. They helped soothe and make it less sore, especially with 14 stitches!
Becoming a mum has been the best experience ever. Keeping an open mind and knowing things will be Topsy turvy on the daily has made it a little easier. It was very tough in the beginning being an independent person but relying on my village as I was bedridden for a couple days due to emergency surgery after birth but seeing our little girl grow makes every good, bad and ugly step worth it.
No matter what mama's we got this! We are all strong, amazing and know exactly what our little ones need. Together we can rule the world.
