How to use

Step 1: Belly Birth Ice Packs: Chill in the fridge (not freezer). Once cooled, place in the soft sleeve + apply over your incision for 10 minutes at a time, every couple of hours in the first few days. Always use with a barrier (sleeve or towel) – never directly on skin

Step 2: Peri Wash Bottle: From day one. Fill with clean, boiled then cooled water and rinse after toileting instead of wiping. Wash with hot soapy water before + after use (don’t pop her in the dishwasher or steriliser – she’ll melt!)

Step 3: Healing Postpartum Spray: Once your bandage is removed, lightly spray over your incision area (or other sensitive spots). Always check with your LMC before first use

Step 4: Belly Birth Scar Oil: Once your incision is fully healed + your LMC has given the all-clear, gently massage a few drops into the scar area daily to help soften + hydrate the skin

The ice packs and the peri bottle are for straight away. The Healing Spray comes in once your bandage is off. The Scar Oil waits until your incision is fully healed and your LMC has given you the all-clear — usually around six weeks, but it's their call, not ours.

Because belly birth still means weeks of postpartum bleeding, and getting up to wipe is no fun with a fresh abdominal incision. A warm-water rinse is gentler and means less reaching and twisting.

It's the thing C-section mums most often tell us they wish they'd had.

Always with a barrier — the soft sleeve they come in, or a towel — never straight onto skin, and chilled in the fridge rather than the freezer. Ten minutes at a time is plenty.

If your incision is still dressed or you have any concerns, check with your LMC first.
